Your business is quite unique — you are engaged in road construction in Ukraine. At first glance, it seems that it is almost impossible to after Business Booster implement management tools in such a business. Tell us what prompted you to decide to implement these tools?
In terms of motivation, the main stockholder database reason I decided to implement management tools was that manual business management became impossible. Our business began to grow rapidly, and this required a systematic approach. At some point, we faced a situation where it was impossible to manage all processes without a structure.
Your business is in a war zone. How do you manage to operate and develop in such conditions?
It is really difficult. We are located abm strategy, the best tools for effective implementation only 40 kilometers from the Russian border, and the situation is very unstable. When active military actions began, we had to reformat the business, start working on military projects. There were moments after Business Booster when we were seriously bombed, but thanks to the fact that we implemented management tools, we were able to distribute responsibilities and continue working. These tools allowed us to quickly adapt, despite the destruction and stress.
You said that the implementation of management tools is the task of the business owner. Why do you think so?
I used to think that I could just hand uab directory this task over to someone else. But in the process, I realized that only the owner can after Business Booster implement management tools correctly. It requires his full involvement and determination. Implementing a system is more than just assigning people to positions. It is a deep transformation, and the owner must be the one who leads this transformation.
What path have you taken since completing the Business Owners School? What results do you see now?
After completing the Business Owners School, I realized that this was only the beginning of the systematization process. Anna Grinkevich helped me appoint an executive director, and this process took about six months. With his help, we began to assign people after Business Booster to positions, introduce job descriptions and clearly distribute responsibilities. This allowed me to step away from operational management for more than two and a half years. During this time, the company has grown 5-7 times, despite the ongoing military actions.
